Summer Vacation Following MS-1

This is "Six Toe Crack," a great climb at Castle Crags, a climbing area in Northern California near Mt. Shasta. We hit this incredible area on the way down to the Bay area, where we visited with family and did some SCUBA diving at Point Lobos.

Point Lobos is the oldest underwater park and sanctuary in the United States.

The tiny little thing in pink is LARGER THAN LIFE! I call her "the 18 pound tornado." No joke. This kid is cool. She is so smart and so determined, that if she doesn't give her parents grey hair, nothing will. :)

She wanted some grapes, but her sister wanted to go outside and play the game you see us playing. Afterwards, the tornado was nowhere to be found. She had figured out how to open the sliding glass door, the refridgerator door, and knew exactly where the grapes were. Her head was burried in the bowel when we busted her. The look on her face was classic.

I cannot wait to watch this one grow.

In addition, I finished an article that I hope will be published in the Annals of Emergency medicine, and a short article on HIPAA that was published in the December 2006 issue of the ACEP News.

Regardless of where I match, I feel incredibly fortunate to have been assigned to the medical legal committee of the ACEP. It has opened a lot of doors in terms of opportunites. But more importantly, I've met some of the most amazing and helpful people.

This is a picture of Seth's side of the family. It is a rare event to have all of his siblings together (Mike, Pam, Barb, and Adloph). As Seth's parents are in their 80s, it is always a special treat for them.
